It's good to be home for the weekend. I feel like a totally different person when I am home. My attitude is a lot more layed back and I feel irresponsible. Maybe this is because I start feeling like I'm 17 again when I'm home, who knows? Mom cooked BBQ chicken as requested tonight and gosh it was good! Dad brought up all the random places he wants to go soon (the amazon, Tibet, Austrailia, Alaskan cruise, told you it was random). I guess it is 'mid-life' sort of thing! I got online tonight to look for nursing jobs. I was all excited as I looked through the opportunities but then quickly became nervous and worried. A lot of the jobs need experience and I have, um, well, NONE! Of course I have the lovely student nurse experiences and I will have a BSN upon graduation but other than that, I got nothing! I think I need to find a mentor or somebody to hold my hand through all this because getting my first big girl job is a bit scary! I think I'll just lay off the job searching for the night and start fresh later...
But it is so good to be home once again.
